About This Website

Just another WordPress blog, eh? C:

This site began back in April of 2010. I created it years after establishing LPBA in order to provide a public face for my breeding services. It really took off more than I ever thought it would and this site now has a total fan base of over 35,000 accumulated followers, Facebook friends, visitors and Pinterest fans – with new guests arriving every day. It has been a lot of fun to see it grow!

In the future..
Keep an eye out for our new layout & dot-com website, coming soon!

The photos used in the header graphic were taken by local nature photographer Randy Hume. I also edited them to change their appearance. The rest of the graphics on this site were also all created by me, including the ones in the sidebar to the right.
Done in Paint Shop Pro X3 & X6.

All photos unless otherwise noted were taken by me inside the aviary in various grouped or individual flight cages. All birds pictured are TWFA breeding pairs that are permanent members of the aviary, unless noted to be offspring available for adoption.
Taken with a Nikon D3200.

All content © The White Finch Aviary since 2008.
All graphics and photos were created by me and are my intellectual property.
They are not to be re-used without consent.
